Books Are Always My Favorite Gift I’ve always loved reading and books so they always make great gifts to me. They are the gift that keeps on giving on into the future. A book on bike repair is one that gives back in spades because it will save thousands of dollars for your rider over the course of their riding lifetime.
Grantland’s Kevin Nguyen could “hardly think of a book that feels more necessary, relevant and urgent” than Jeff Hobbs’ “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace.” Within those pages, Hobbs recounts the life of an African American man named Robert Peace, who grew up amid the crime of Newark, New Jersey, in the ’80s with a father in prison and a mother making less than $15,000 a year. Peace’s academic success led him to study molecular biochemistry at Yale, but what occurs after his graduation is heartbreaking. Along with the all too short life of Michael Brown, Peace’s story serves as an incredible “(reminder) of the systemic problems that continue to claim the lives of young black men,” Nguyen wrote.
They tell the cops they will leave when the park closes for the day. But if they go and stand in the wrong place on the street, the same cop will tell them they can’t stand there. I suppose what the cop wants to say is “Go home.” But they don’t have one.

Jonas has spent a portion of his career in the wine industry and I have very much enjoyed reading his posts that suggest great wines at everyday prices.
Because of where I at in the world, I just got the replay of this story and heard the blurb from former AZ gov. Napolitano. I find it ridiculous that she would say that this new law would hinder enforcement of the federal immigration laws when she, as Governor, hindered enforcement by instructing the law enforcement agencies within the state to ignore the federal law and they weren even allowed to investigate illegal immigrants employed within the state when they were pointed out to the cops.
I knew the transmitters could send out a signal of a “whopping” (I say this with sarcasm) 100 milliwatts, but I was looking for some real power. I wanted the transmitter to send a signal to the stereo that was powerful enough to fry its contents and silence DJ MuffinPuff and Ma and Pa Roach Stompin’ Two Steppers for awhile. I also knew I had to get within about 100 feet of that old orange Toyota rust bucket to do my evil duty..
